transformational breathwork
Breath is a natural and direct path back to presence and the body's own intelligence, past the stories in our minds.
What is breathwork?
Breathwork is a sustained, rhythmic breath, where you breathe in through the belly and chest and out through the mouth. It is practiced lying down with eyes closed, guiding you into deep states of relaxation and insight.
Benefits
Emotional Release Breathwork facilitates the release of stored or blocked emotion.
Nervous System Breathwork relaxes and strengthens the nervous system, increasing our capacity to be with complexity.
Clarity When you bring an intention into your breath, insight often arrives during the session.
Transpersonal For some people, breathwork results in transpersonal (more than human) experiences where someone may feel a sense of oneness, or even connect with a deeper spiritual intelligence.
My approach
Intake During intake, we have a call together so I can get to know your history and set up your session to hold you safely.
Orientation Before we begin, I will demonstrate the breath technique and answer any questions you have, explain what the session will look like and what you may expect, and discuss your intention for the session.
The Session During the session, my role is to be your guide, helping you find a smooth, full breath. You also have full agency: you can stop at any time, change your breath pattern, or open your eyes. You are ultimately in the driver's seat.
Debrief After the session, we reflect together, discuss practical ways to bring breath into your daily life, and talk about how to integrate your experience.
Please note
Breathwork is not suitable for everyone. Certain medical and mental health conditions require additional care, which we'll discuss fully before your first session.
Individual sessions
A one on one session guided by me, supported by hands-on techniques, presence, and full attention.
Sessions can be booked individually, in packages of 3 to 5, or combined with 1:1 coaching. I recommend packages, as consistent practice builds a stronger nervous system over time, so the benefits compound.
First session: 2.5 to 3 hours, or a duration of your choice. Subsequent sessions: approximately 2 hours.
Group sessions
I host small groups of 3 to 10 people, where you can breathe together as a team, with friends, or with a group of fellow breath explorers. Breathing together in a group is a powerful and wonderful way to spend time together and strengthen your connection.
Sessions vary from 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the number of people. In a group setting, there is always time for setting intentions at the beginning and reflecting together at the end.

“Mark facilitated a truly powerful one-on-one breathwork session for me, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s an attuned, personable practitioner who clearly cares deeply about this work and what it can offer. Mark had a real gift for creating a space that felt held and comfortable, no matter what came up during the session.
I’d recommend him to anyone, but especially to people who are curious about trying breathwork for the first time. His gentle, grounded energy and caring approach would make for a wonderful entry point into this practice.” - Kristin Evans
